These terms govern your use of the ContextStellar Chrome Extension and the contextstellar.com website. Please read them carefully.
Effective March 1, 2026 · Last updated March 1, 2026
By installing, accessing, or using the ContextStellar Chrome Extension ("the Extension") or the contextstellar.com website ("the Website", and together with the Extension, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
The Service is provided by ContextStellar ("we", "us", "our").
ContextStellar provides tools for scoring, analyzing, and improving prompts used with large language models (LLMs). The Extension operates locally within your browser and does not transmit your prompt data to any external server. The Website provides an online prompt editor, educational guides, and related resources.
Scores, grades, and suggestions provided by the Service are informational only and represent automated heuristic analysis. They are not guarantees of prompt quality, LLM output quality, or fitness for any particular purpose.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You agree not to:
The Service, including its source code, design, scoring algorithms, documentation, and all related materials, is licensed under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute the source code in accordance with the terms of that license.
The ContextStellar name, logo, and branding are trademarks of ContextStellar. The MIT License does not grant you rights to use our trademarks without prior written permission.
The prompts you analyze using the Service remain entirely yours. We do not claim ownership of, or any rights to, your prompt content. As described in our Privacy Policy, the Extension processes your prompts locally on your device and does not transmit them to our servers.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CONTEXTSTELLAR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ContextStellar and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Extension and ceasing to use the Website. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any remaining disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
